Dr. Duane Clouse was born in Chicago, Illinois while his father was finishing dental school. He was raised in Mesa, Arizona, and attended Arizona State University. Following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Clouse chose to become a dentist and was accepted into the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated in 1991, earning the Preventive Dentistry Award.
Following dental school, Dr. Clouse practiced general dentistry in Phoenix for 12 years. As a general dentist, he realized that his passion was working with children, so he decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
The Temple University Children’s Medical Center in Philadelphia, one of the nation’s top programs for sedation dentistry, accepted Dr. Clouse as a resident in 2003. During his tenure, Dr. Clouse earned the Clinician Award for his exceptional dental skills. He earned his certification in pediatric dentistry in June 2005. Dr. Clouse has been board certified since 2009 and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association® and the Arizona Dental Association.
Dr. Clouse and his wife, Jami, grew up together in Mesa, Arizona and attended elementary school, junior high, and high school together. He enjoys college football, ASU being his favorite, he loves the outdoors, and he loves spending time with his wife at their cabin, where they work hard and play even harder. Dr. Clouse and his family have roots in Arizona going back five generations.
